Emma Nilsson
Emma Nilsson was born in 1985 in Norrköping, Sweden. She studied ceramics at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In her work she explores an incongruous mixture of ceramic materials and wire mesh. She is interested in the unpredictable and what we experience beyond our intellectual mind and senses, and surrenders to the uncontrolled outcome of the process. Both conceptually and practically, she approaches that which cannot be created, but only experienced.
