Present perception
How does our history shape our perception of the present? How do we see objects and environments through the filter of our memory? What causes this distortion and how can we correct it? With the works of Carsten Becker and Jeppe Lauge, we are showing two positions that deal with perception. At the end of a long research process, the multimedia artist Carsten Becker creates photographs of NORMS that carry a military history within them. The painter Jeppe Lauge addresses the influence of visual habits and thus visual history on our perception of landscape.For ENTER ART FAIR 2024, we are juxtaposing these two in order to also question the technical view of natural worlds.
