Article of Nilsson, Emma
Emma Nilsson was born in Norrköping, Sweden, in 1985.
Nilsson studied ceramics at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
The artist has been awarded several scholarships, including two one-year working scholarships from the Swedish Arts Council (2019 and 2022) and, most recently, their international exchange scholarship (2023). In addition, she was honoured with a working scholarship from the municipality of Karlstad and a grant from the Helge Ax:son Johnson Foundation in 2023.
Her works are represented in the collection of the Swedish National Arts Council and have been shown in several public and private exhibition spaces.
The artist lives and works in Karlstad, Sweden.
